Stress Reducing Sugar Biscuits

These sugar biscuits are a like a cross between a cookie and a scone. They are my new favorite stress-reducing treat! (*omit baking powder to make these biscuits into cookies!)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 2 splashes vanilla extract 

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 3/4 cup coconut oil softened but not melted

  • 1 cup white sugar 

  • 2 tsp. Anoint Daily adaptogen blend

  • 2 cups gluten free flour blend 

Combine all wet ingredients in a bowl first, then add combined dry ingredients. Form into a big ball with your hands. Make small to medium sized balls and put in the freezer for 10 minutes before baking at 375F for 15-25 minutes. 

I highly recommend to try eating with mixed berry jam and a cup of hot tea or coffee on the side!
