We carefully handcraft-to-order our botanicals using the highest source of essential oils: Living Libations. As of October 2023, we have partnered with Living Libations in the creation of all our botanical products. Every essential oil in every one of our botanical offerings will be sourced from this most highly adored and esteemed company.

For over 30 years we (Living Libations) have nurtured personal relationships with artisan distillers and family farmers around the globe so that we may secure authentic oils and extracts that are purely and fairly produced. Many of the highest quality plants and flowers used in plant oils are indigenous to the developing world, and the people native to those regions learned from their families the ancient craft of distillation. We can track the source of our oils from the plant growing in the field to the oil arriving on our doorway. It is our pleasure to observe fair trade practices so that our skilled farmers, harvesters, and distillers are safe and earn a fair wage for their labor and goods….

Purity: All Libations botanicals are authentic and pure and distilled only from the named plant matter. We call our essential oils Hi-Fi oils due to the distillers' faithful and accurate adherence to the master plant. All of our Hi-Fi oils are distilled from either wild crafted or organically grown plants. Our wild crafted plant matter is collected from the plants' natural habitat in lieu of a farm. We avoid offering botanicals from rare or threatened species of plants growing in the wild to discourage their disruption and disappearance. Our organic oils originate from plants cultivated without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, or herbicides….

To amplify the potency of the aromatic essence in the plant being distilled, our harvesters gather the part of the plant needed for the oil at the ideal time of day for each plant. An ancient and artful distillation method further ensures that the maximum amount of compounds and trace elements are captured in every drop. Most of our oils are distilled with nothing more than pure water.

Free from artificial and synthetic colors, preservatives, fragrances, and petrochemicals, every component of a Libation is an active ingredient. We preserve purity, space, and resources by offering full potency products without fillers or diluters. Our essential oils and supercritical extracts are highly concentrated, and with some of our botanicals, a whole plant is required to create a single drop of oil.”

We source our adaptogens from companies that match our non-negotiables for high quality, and high company morals. Nuts.com is a third generation family owned and run company, and commits to 6 principles:

Mountain Rose Herbs provides certified organic or pesticide-free plant products that are sustainably harvested, that have been proven safe through laboratory analysis. They first consider the “environmental impacts of growing, harvesting, and drying herbs, ... (and) have a strict policy that guarantees workers a fair market value for the goods they produce. (They) have discontinued items and refused to carry particular products if laborers were not given an equal voice, a fair wage, or because (of) sensitive bioregions … being compromised.”

All of the products we select from these resources are certified organic. We source products from our own organic home garden when possible, and our fellow local herbal makers.

Packaging

We are in daily awe and gratitude of Mother Nature, and know that without her resources, we would be nothing, nor have anything to share with you. In gratitude and reverence, every order is packaged in as fully recyclable, upcycled, and recycled packaging as possible. Please don’t judge our vendor shipments by their looks, they are shipped in fully upcycled packaging! :)

We use fully compostable pouches for our subscritpion refills, and glass jars for all other products, so that they may be recycled, or upcycled in a variety of wonderful ways! Please click here to see the numerous ways you can re-create your adaptogen jar!

Creation

Every shipment is made to order, with careful intention, in our sunny southern California home studio. Infused with the golden rays of the Sun, we carefully combine every product, clean from any sweeteners or fillers. This makes our adaptogens easy to include into any elixir, meal, or tea. No stevia that disrupts the digestive system and detriments our teeth, or an over-abundance of turmeric or etc that will also cause imbalance in the body. Everything in careful moderation and balance. We give detailed consideration to the energetics, pleasure, and support-giving of each combination.

We are here to provide herbal/fungi blends and botanicals for your daily anointment. We hope you enjoy, and receive further inner and outer radiance from our creations.
